Play sessions at EastBrooke Manor

A series of 5 sequenced play sessions based on the way I have always made art. When art is the verb, the doing, it goes beyond process ( which infers an end point). My play is work and I have always worked via play.

I realise that by sharing and facilitating others into a method of seeing and freeflow finding out, I hope that other people can engage, discover what they love, who they are, help others and follow an almost instictive trajectory when immersing themselves in play to express themselves visually. The prompt cards I offer are hooks if anyone is stuck, …they can use a card to suggest a next move. It is a call to healthy and independent actions that people can take and live with when I am not there.

Play is independent , collaborative, a trying out of ideas and yet we can replicate, we can speak, we do not have to speak. Ultimately it is a gentle voyage of discovery, fun, rebellion, togetherness and can provide connections and creative problem solving for us to love support each other.
