An early morning at the end Of June 2026 I was very happy to be part of the team that is Figment Arts to support Dave who abseiled down the i360 in Brighton to raise much needed funds for our new artspace to be in Shoreham Port. David was ( and probably still is) terrified of heights ..but he did it! I volunteered to be in the pod ( 3 hours) to support and offer the opportunity for other jumpers to perhaps engage in some drawing of clouds,rain, the ocean..patterns of man made town planning that were now tiny on the ground oh-so-far down below. The potential is and was huge!

The team on the ground engaged visitors and supporters to create a communal painting to mark the event and looming new home..a magnificent effort and great piece of work!

We are hoping to combine the view from the top down with the views on the ground / up / seaside that will be hung in different places in Brighton ( tbc).
