I am so lucky to have an amazing studio with outside space. I have always recognised the parellel of my working methods with that of play and the studio provides a safe space to follow on immediate visual ideas, to respond with immediacy, and to learn from what I see that I couldn’t have thought of.

In taking time out this year, I hope to enforce the foundations of my work, reach greater clarity, and for this period of time to hold me steady when I go to more spaces next year.
