Art Outside…

I want to be able to use paint, make it accessible, to give it a relevance outside of a gallery or a wall, and to be an active part of who we are and how we live.

I dream of creating large painted marks that sit on transparent surfaces, that can be moulded to shapes and assembled compositions and situated outside within the world.

Fuelled by the expressions from the public, from concerns, joys and shared understanding, work can be created that reflects the lives of the local. Paint as a medium can be a tool of united understanding, inclusivity and a collected voice.
