Playgrounds

I am passionate to create playground/s. I have linked the running element of play, joy, hope and soul that has always been in my work…and have seen it can be a tool to work with displaced / poverty stricken / children, young people and families.

By working together, I can facilitate a meaningful and personalised connection to art, using paint that many people disconnect with. Then, we can create safe spaces for people to be and to play…spaces that are as exciting as you can get…and will give ownership to spaces to the people that live there.

Not only can communities become self sufficient, not only can they have a say of how their environment looks, feels and its function…and a fresh understanding and connection to existing spsces, but I hope that people can consider visual expression as a powerful force to express identity, ideas, prescence, and being.

Below is a snapshot of work and sketches made over the past 2 years.
